To those who refuse the lamb slain for them, the response at the final judgement is “fall on us mountains!” They would rather be crushed by mountains and fade into oblivion than face the Holy God on judgment day. Yet all must stand before God, either Jesus dies for you and wipes your account clean, or you stand before God and give an account for what you have done. In the end, someone pays.
